Where possible, our designs try to reduce the area of the cleanroom by placing the process equipment outside of the cleanroom envelope into modular 'grey' areas. The use of grey areas reduces the volume of the actual cleanroom proper and modularises the tasks necessary to operate the facility. This leads to a down-sizing of the environmental conditioning systems and a commensurate lowering of their operating costs.
